I am saddened to hear of the loss of Sunnyside High School Principal, Tim Liles. He was a pillar to his community and a friend and mentor to the students and teachers he served.
This loss will be felt for years to come as the indelible mark he made on his school and Fresno Unified School District continues to live on as his legacy. His commitment to ensuring all students are given the opportunity to attend an institution of higher learning is a vision that I will take with me in my pursuit to serve the students of Fresno County. He knew that preparedness was the only way to succeed and that will continue in his memory.
